Greyish blond hair and small eyes that look like a pair of yellow topaz stones. He has tanned skin and dresses like he was 20-something. He's always wearing jeans and a simple t-shirt, and probably converse shoes. His hair is always a mess, as he seldom takes the time to look in the mirror before leaving his house to go to work. He does look younger; probably looks like he's nearly 40, and not nearly 50, and even though he's not the most attractive guy there is, he uses his smile is his charm and usually can impress women with that. He seems to be always smiling, unless he's drunk and sleepy. Michel is not very tall, - he's nearly 5'8, but either way will say he is 5'8.

Michel is a hyperactive guy. He can't stand still and he can't seem to shut up. Kids like him. He is a loyal friend and would jump off of a bridge for a friend or colleague -- literally -- without thinking twice. He has a hard time seeing the bad side of things and sometimes trusts people too much. Michel is very flirty around women and can't seem to be alone for too long. He doesn't think of settling down and getting married, which is why he prefers to have affairs with married women. It seems to him it is much easier that way. Married women never want commitment; just sex and some company. It is bad when husbands find out, though. He did take a few punches a few times, from angry husbands. But Michel never was a fighting type, so he would always try to escape.

Either way, he knows how to be a good friend -- which means he would never hit on a friend's wife or girlfriend. And he's a fun guy to be with, when one's in a good mood. Sometimes it may look as if Michel is all about this façade he shows. As if there's was nothing inside to be hidden. And this can bother some people.

His good intentions aren't always -- usually aren't -- actually the right thing to do. He's clumsy and very loud. His sense of morallity can seem a bit distorted for some people. Michel never thought about that, but it has something to do with the fact he travelled too much and has seen too many different cultures to believe in right and wrong. He's smart enough to notice other people's sense of morallity and respect it, but the truth is he doesn't care about that too much.

Michel is obsessed with the Incas, lost civilizations and conspiracy theories. He talks in riddles when he's drunk, but that's not something he'll actually remember the next day.

He was born in San Francisco and raised by and artist aunt with an inheritance larger than her responsability. His parents were pretty rich and left him a lot of money. They died in a boat accident when he was five. His aunt, Hannah, despite being a bit crazy, took good care of that money. So Michel never really had to worry about that. He wanted to study History because he was obsessed with the native americans. He went to university in Chile when he was 19 and became obsessed with the Incas.

He lived in Santiago for about 8 years. He studied Antropology and would follow one of his teachers around into archaeologic expeditions. He really loved that, but it pissed him off to have to deal with other people's egos. One day he just got tired of the altitude and left. He spent a year travelling around South America and then got back to San Francisco.

And then he got a job at an elementary school teaching History to kids. And loved it.

He met Gregory Adams when he was 32 and they soon became good friends. Greg was an historian and worked at a museum. Greg didn't mind Michel's digressions about Incas and a conspiracy theory that involved aliens and the building of the pyramids while they got drunk with vodka. Then Greg killed himself, five years later. It was something to do with the fact his wife had cheated on him, something about Greg's father and some car accidents. One would never be really sure. But it shook Michel pretty bad. Greg had a 6 year-old daughter and a 6 months old son.

Michel took some time off. Took a plane to Peru and stayed there for a few months. When he got back, he decided he needed a fresh start and moved to Pleasant Port.

Michel kept in touch with Greg's daughter, Wendy, as she grew up. She lives in San Francisco with her mother and step-father. She's 16 now and Michel is her uncle Doc, as much as her mother thinks Michel probably has a loose screw or something.

Michel continued teaching and got his life back on track. Then he got bored. He's been thinking of leaving for some time now. Too much time. He knows he probably won't leave. He likes his students too much and has made enough friends to enjoy living there.

His parents died when he was 5 and he doesn't really remember much about them. He was raised by his aunt Hannah, his mother's sister.

Hannah Green (70). Aunt. Hannah is an artist and makes a living from her paintings. She lives in San Francisco. They talk on the phone every once in a while.

Rylee Romsland (19) Daughter. Michel only met her in the first half of 2007, and didn't even know she existed before that. He rather think of her as a really close friend because the idea of having to be a father still freaks him out. Either way, that seems to be working and they get along pretty well.

Scott Archer \\ Used to be in Michel's class. Michel thinks Scott's an inteligent guy and one of the few in town who doesn't seem to mind him talking about the Incas and senseless conspiracy theories.

Nicolette Collins \\ He met her because her children were in his classes. They dated for a few months after her kids gratuated from high school. Now they are good friends, with benefits.

Jennifer Parker \\ They met quite randomly the night after the flood and talked for a while. She remembered him because her children were once in his classes. Michel is trying to win her heart. He knows she's married, but thinks her husband must be a boring jerk.

He has a habit of quoting his favorite lines (of any sort of book) during the most unappropriate and out of topic moments. He drinks a lot until he actually gets drunk. And he drinks. A lot.
