Name: Natalie Grace Boyd
Appearance
Height: 5'7" Natalie used to have tons of party clothes and a huge fashion sense but since her daughter was born, she is quite different. She can't be bothered spending time on her own appearance and often just throws things on, not paying much attention to how she looks. She rarely wears makeup or does much with her hair.
Personality
If anything Natalie is very reserved. Once the wild party girl, she was always the center of attention, the life of the party. She was bubbly and outgoing and a lot of fun to be around. It's not that she's boring now, she's just changed. Her priorities have shifted to caring for her daughter. She simply doesn't have the time to care about things like going out and partying anymore. She is very attentive to her child and does everything she can for her. She is sweet and down to earth, but also somewhat tired. She always seems to be a little tired and subdued even on the rare night when she does get a lot of sleep. It seems as if the energy she used to have has been drained out of her, which isn't completely true. Anyone who sees her with her daughter sees that she is still the same bubbly girl, her energy has just been redirected.
Personal History Natalie was born and raised in Pleasant Port. Growing up she was the kid always getting into trouble. In high school she was the girl who liked to drink, smoke up, and fool around with the boys. A lot of people didn't think she'd make it to college, but although Natalie never put much faith into school, she was naturally smart, so she excelled even if she was busy partying, even on school nights. Plus, she was determined to get out of town and college was her ticket. She moved to Boston for college and attended Tuft's University. She majored Biology but she spent more time partying than studying. Her grades suffered a little, but not enough for her to care or worry. She started dating someone her freshman year, and thought that she fell in love. She was still a party girl and slipped up a few times, hooking up with Scott on visits home, but she loved Carter so she thought a few slip ups weren't important. But after spending the summer away from him (she went home to Pleasant Port and he went home to Maine) things were different. They were still together...but it just wasn't the same. And when Natalie found herself pregnant, it didn't help the matter. Carter wanted her to get an abortion and when she didn't, he dumped her. Devastated, Natalie turned to Austin Boyd, who was a good friend. Plus, she knew he'd been in love with her since freshman year and the fact that he came from a very wealthy family didn't hurt either. He basically took over supporting her and it wasn't long before they were together. Natalie didn't really love him, but he loved her and her daughter, so she couldn't complain. Austin graduated from Tuft's last year with a degree in Journalism. It so happened that the paper in Natalie's hometown was hiring and Austin took the job figuring that it would be good for Natalie to return home and get the support she needed. Not wanting to face her old friends and family as a single mother, Natalie and Austin eloped and Austin adopted Amber (so she'd have his last name) before moving to Pleasant Port. Natalie doesn't plan on telling anyone that Austin isn't Amber's real father.

Scott Archer - He was her good friend since they were children and his sister used to babysit them. When they got older they partied together, made out a lot and would sleep together on occasion. She kept in touch with him when she went away to school at first, but after she got pregnant, she didn't want him or anyone to know how she skewed up so she started to "forget" to return phone calls and such and they eventually lost touch. Madeline Baker - Natalie used to be fairly good friends with Maddy. They used to party a lot together but Natalie lost touch with her after she moved away for college. Nicolette Collins - She knows her because she is Travis' mother. Natalie is fairly certain that Nicolette never liked her, but then again, Nat never gave her much reason to. She used to flirt with Travis in front of Nicolette, not really bothering to censor herself. If anything, the whole thing amused her. Travis Collins - She became friends with him through Scott. She always liked Travis a lot but wished that he was more outgoing. She used to like to tease him about this and flirt with him, just to get a reaction and make him uncomfortable--but in more of a playful way. She joked around with him a lot. Although he was a fairly good friend in high school she didn't keep in touch with him when she moved away. Fionnegan Gallagher - Natalie met him through Austin when they were still up in Boston. She liked him right away especially after she had Amber and he took to her so well. She was vaguely aware he was moving to Pleasant Port but she was so busy with Amber and her own life and she kind of forgot until she moved back there herself. Ashley Hodge - Natalie used to hang out with Ashley at parties. They lost touch however when Nat moved off to college. Dana Jenkins - She is another one of Natalie's former friends. They used to party a lot but Natalie hasn't seen her in years. Micah Lewis - She used to party with him and they would go out drinking together a lot. She hooked up with him a few times but it didn't last long and they both moved on. Charlotte Miller - She was Natalie's baby-sitter back when Natalie was in middle school. They kept in touch until Nat moved away for college. Fletcher Montgomery- She met him through Travis when she went to one of the parties at his college. She was still in high school at the time, but she was attracted to Fletcher right away. She hooked up with him a few times in the Spring of her senior year of high school and the summer before she left for college. Justin Parker - She went to high school with him. She always sort of felt bad for him since everyone made fun of him. Although she was always friendly towards him, they were never particularly close. Other Characters Talk About Natalie
