Name: Nicolette Collins
The Meaning of her name Nicolette is 5'10" with long, brown hair and brown eyes. She likes to look her best when she goes out of the house. Well maybe not her *best* but she likes to look nice. Sometimes when she needs a confidence boost, you might see her wearing something sexy. Either way, she likes to dress femininely.
![]() Nicolette is a very devoted mother, even now that her children are grown. She loves taking care of them and doing things for them. Partly so she can get recognition from other people, but mostly simply because she loves them more than life itself. She is very sociable and loves talking to people. Her only real source of sadness - besides losing the father of her children and having to raise her children alone - is the fact that her children don't seem to get along. She hopes one day they will. Being that she was a single mother raising three children (two boys and a sassy girl) on her own, Nicolette always felt like she had to be strict with her children to make sure she kept them in line. This is something that has not changed, and even though she's pretty sweet and friendly with people, with her children she tends to be blunt and can sometimes be cold towards them.
While she's still got trust issues with men, she's still interested in maybe one day finding a man who she can be happy with. Despite her age, she doesn't mind just having some fun for now. After all, she worked hard raising her children. She thinks she deserves to enjoy herself.
Despite the fact that she grew up in a very religious family, Nicolette is more relaxed about her religion. She went to church every week, but she wasn't very strict about the rules of the religion. Therefore, while her parents spoke to her about getting married before having sex and having children, she didn't listen. She loved Ripley and that was enough for her. She was very distraught when he left her alone to raise three children.
Despite that, she was strong and she always tried to be cheerful. Even if she was having a bad day, she tried to hide that from the outside world, not wanting to look like a bad mom. While her children were growing up, she dedicated her life to them. Therefore, she never dated. However, now that they are all grown up, she is hoping to get back into the dating scene.
Address: 15 Farmer's Avenue Does she live alone? Yes Lives in town since: All of her life Lives in the house since: February 1985

Ripley Wyatt met Nicolette Collins through their parents being friends. Even though there were several years between them, it didn't keep the friends from wanting their children to be friends. In fact, they hoped that the pair - Ripley and Nicolette - would wind up as more than friends. With Ripley being able to skip a grade and Nicolette being held back, they ended up in junior high together. It was there that they became boyfriend and girlfriend. While Ripley was still in high school, Nicolette became pregnant. Unmarried, she was concerned. But since it seemed the couple would remain together forever, no one was too concerned about the pregnancy, figuring that they would end up happily married eventually. They lived happily together, the two of them and their son Nicholas. They were thrilled when one day, Nicolette found out she was pregnant again. She hoped that she would get a little girl and have one of each. However, when it was discovered they were having twins, Ripley took off.
Scott Archer - Nicolette finds him a bit odd, but she thinks he's a really sweet young man. She doesn't agree with some of the things he does, but as long as her son is kept out of that, she's fine. Linda Davis - The owner of the salon that Nicolette goes to. She enjoys their conversations there, as well as the ones they have at the bars they both frequent. She loves the woman's great attitude and appreciates that she also believes that you can live after your children become adults. Michel Decker - She first met him as Travis and Riley's eighth grade history teacher. She found him attractive and he seemed a bit flirty which she found extremely flattering. After her twins moved up, she seemed to run into him around town. Once the twins graduated high school, Nicolette took the relationship with Michel further. They now are friends with benefits. Malachai Dresden - Knows him from his mother. Leon Doherty - Nicolette met him one day at the Photo Studio when she was going to visit her son. She thinks the guy is absolutely adorable. She's hoping that the fact that he lives so close means that she'll be running into him frequently. Cadissy Dresden - Nicolette knows her from the neighborhood and likes her. They have enjoyable conversations when they see eachother, but as of yet they haven't made plans to do anything. That's something that Nicolette is thinking might change in the future. Oliver Gordon - Knows him from church and from the Fun Bar. She finds him very attractive and thinks it's a shame that he's married, if only for the fact that she knows he won't cheat. They're very good friends though, and she doesn't push it as much as she can help it. Micah Lewis - Nicolette finds him to be a nice, young man, even if he usually seems awkward while he's talking to her. She thinks it makes sense that he and her son are friends. She hopes that he's able to stand up for himself better than Travis is. Adela Martinez - Nicolette knew her mostly through JJ and Geri, but she thinks the girls is very sweet and a lot of fun to be around. Charlotte Miller - She knows the woman as her son's friend's sister. She thinks the Archer Family as a whole is weird, but they're very nice people. Though she may have been a little nervous at first that they'd try to brainwash Travis, she no longer worries about that. Fletcher Montgomery - Nicolette doesn't trust him at all and thinks that he's corrupting her youngest child. While she might sometimes find his attitude attractive in men more her age, in him, she finds it to be disrespectful. Ariel Reed - Nicolette knows her through her son. She thinks the girl is very sweet and more the type of girl that Travis should end up with. Alexander Stone - She knows him from church and also as one of her son's teachers. She thinks he's a really sweet guy. She loves chatting with him if she sees him around town or if when she sees him at church or church functions.
Jonathan Zimmerman - Knows him from church when he attended with his mother though she also knows him from the bar. She thinks he's a very attractive guy. What started as casual knowledge of one another changed when his mother suggested that the two of them try dating. Johnny apparently wasn't interested in that and told her he only wanted sex. Nicolette agreed to just have sex with him and she hasn't regretted that decision even though she is hoping to find someone she can fall in love with. Elizabeth Hall - The two knew eachother a bit from church. Recently, Lily invited her to grab drinks and they discussed how Nicolette's son and his friend had helped her with her flat tire. Nicolette considers Lily one of her closest friends.
John Sullivan - He babysat her children when they were younger. She appreciated all the man did for her and her children. She misses him now that he's had to move away. Travis Collins: "I love my mom very much even though she be intimidating at times." Scott Archer: "I really like Miss Collins, but sometimes she can be a bit harsh." Fletcher Montgomery: "If she wasn't Travis's mom, ooh the things I'd do to her. Ah, heck, who am I kidding? I'd do them anyway." Elizabeth Hall: "She's a sweetheart to talk to. We've only truly talked a couple of times, but those time's been great. She might come across strict to some, but being a mother myself I know that in her shoes, under her circumstances I'd never be able to do better; she's amazing." Ariel Reed: "I've only met her a couple of times, but I think she's wonderful. How could she not be? She raised Travis. (pause) Don't tell him I said that..."
Riley Collins: "My mom is my inspiration. She's a strong, independent woman who knows what she wants and goes for it. I learned everything I know from her. Well, maybe not everything."
