Robert has blue eyes and brown hair that tends to curl the longer it gets. With that in mind, he usually keeps it short enough so that it doesn't get out of control. He's six feet tall and has an athletic build although he isn't too muscular. His dress is what he likes to call cool/casual. He wears a lot of suit jackets with jeans, and more often than not, can be found sporting various scarves as an accesory.

There's never a moment when he'll look sloppy or messy. He'll iron his clothes, and if there's a wrinkle that shows up on a sleeve, he'll iron the entire piece of clothing again.

Robert is about as easy going as anyone can be. He has this philosophy that life is only as good as you make it, and in believing as much, he's set on making it a wonderful and fun time. He's comfortable with talking to anyone and has no problem with sparking up conversations with strangers as if he's known the person his whole life. Sometimes it scares others, but most of the time they just see it as him being friendly.

He tends to be helpful to the point where it could almost be a fault, sacrificing himself for others if it came down to it. If one would need a ride at 3 o'clock in the morning, he'd be there. If someone needed a loan that he might not be comfortable financially to give, he'd do it anyway, no questions asked.

Robert grew up in Pleasant Port with a pair of loving parents, Rosa and Ernest; and an older sister, Emily, that he's been rather close with during his life thus far. At a young age, it was evident that he was really caring. When someone got picked on at the bus stop, he'd be the first one to defend the person. Or when someone forgot their lunch, he'd gladly tear his sandwich in half. It's a trait that has stuck with him since.

Upon finishing high school, he was accepted to Penn State and moved there to study and major in Law, something that he had been interesting in at a very young age. Although he made a lot friends and had a few relationships in Pennsylvania, after graduating, it wasn't a hard decision for him to move back to Pleasant Port to put the degree to use. He got a job at a local law firm and became what most people thought he would, a public defender.

After years of putting in work for others, he eventually bought a building and now works on his own time. A few years after that, Corinna Bland was hired and she works as his secretary. It's not unlikely that people Robert knows ask for his advice or help with legal matters. And more often than not, he'll accept the challenge.

He's bisexual in the sense that his first sexual encounter was with a woman, but Robert has known that he was more interested in guys for quite some time. You wouldn't be able to tell by looking at him or his mannerisms, but he also doesn't try to hide the fact either. He's dated a few people but most of the relationships - aside from Matt Patterson who he dated in college for about 16 months - didn't last very long. That is, until he met Ben Sutton. He worked with Emily and the two were introduced one day when Robert was in the bookstore. They became good friend; bonding over art, books and shopping. Soon friendship turned into a crush and then, after Ben suggested more, a relationship. They started dating at the end of 2006 after Christmas.

In February of 2007, during the flood of Pleasant Port, Robert was in a car accident with Micah Lewis. While the other sustained some serious injuries, he managed to come away with only a sprained wrist and whiplash. It only took a few weeks for him to be back to good, but during this time, he took to working out of his home.

During the summer, Robert caved and finally asked Ben to move in with him at Salem Road. The other agreed to do so. It was a big step and Robert sees it as making their relationship stronger.

	Emily is Robert's sister and they're so close that he'd consider her one of his best friends. She moved from Pleasant Port in February of 2007 and he misses her a lot.
	Robert met Jason when the other started dating Emily. Although they had seen each other around, they didn't really start talking until then. Once conversations started, they both realized their common love of sports and have been friends ever since.
	What started out as being acquaintances, with Emily the common bond between the two, had escalated to a close friendship. And from that, turned into a relationship. The two get along great and Robert adores him.
	They met one day while both were sailing and fishing and that common interest grew into a good friendship.
	Although Robert and Nathan have different personalities, their common love for business and sailing started their friendship a few years back.
	Robert has run into Mahogany quite a few times, and during each one, finds himself really enjoying the company and conversation.
	Luke rents a house that robert owns on Sunset Creek Drive. That alone is the only thing that the two have in common.
	Leah is currently working on Robert's office. He doesn't only appreciate her vision with decorating, but the random conversations they've had while going out to shop around.
	Robert and Tim have gotten to know each other due to their same love for sailing and the ocean. Whenever they cross paths, they often talk.
	Robert met Charlotte while volunteering at the Community Center during the flood. They didn't talk much, but he gathered that she was a genuinely sweet person.
	In February 2007, the two got into a car accident. Since then, they've talked a few times and Robert likes the guy.
	Robert got to know Brady when he handled Samantha's - Brady's sister - estate. Not long after talking, he instantly thought the other was a good guy.

	Jane and Robert have been friends dating back to high school. To this day she remains the one and only female that he had ever been with. They kept it touch over the years when both were away from Pleasant Port, and now he's happy to hear that she's back in town.
