When you join the RPG

When you join the RPG you can't post until your character is approved
Age limit: 18.
Make sure that you're going to have time to post. We want this to be an active RPG.

When you post

This is a game based on the daily life of people living in a fictional town called Pleasant Port. Play accordingly.
Respect the other players. No insulting!
No advertisements.
Post frequently. This is important for the good running of the RPG.
'One-liners' are not acceptable posts. Characters not only talk, they also have feelings and thoughts. A post is more than what a character says.
Inform the other players if you won't post in a prolonged period of time.
Any Out Of Character message must be posted with OOC (Out Of Character) in the subject line.
You may not control another player's characters.
IMPORTANT: Any sexual content must be posted with NC17 in the subject line! Not everybody feels comfortable reading this stuff.
If a player is waiting for another player to reply (when in a thread with more than 2 people), they should wait 24 hours, and when there's not a reply they can go ahead and post for their character.
'No Tags', or posts without a tag, are allowed when you want to introduce your character in some kind of situation, or when you're going to be away for a while and you want to move them out of the action without tagging anybody. But 'No tags' should never substitute the interaction with other players. If a player abuses of them, they'll be contacted by the mods, after all if you want to write only by yourself a role play is not your kind of thing, you better go and write a novel or fanfic.
Before tagging another character, you should check that the character's player doesn't have any other plans for that character. Assuming things like 'X' character is at home, or at work, is something that should be avoided. Our characters can go to a certain place or call a certain character assuming the character is there, but it's up to the character's player to decide if the character would be there at that moment, or not.
NPCs can only be used as an enhancement for a thread, they do not substitute a character. They can only be used when either player plays a character that is in game in that particular thread. If you do use an NPC please mark it in the subject line.

Character rules

Creating NPCs for your characters background is allowed, but are the mods who will decide if these characters are going to be adoptable or not. The only reason for 'NPCs moderation' is to control the balance of the characters and avoid that we have a lot of adoptable characters with a similar profile or background.
Mary Sues are not allowed.
You can play more than one character, if you can afford them.
Your character can't be in two places at once.
Once the character is created and you jumped into the game, you can't change their character background without a reason.

Important

Inactive players will be removed from the RPG. This is an active RPG.
If you decide to take a hiatus from the game, your character will be moved to 'hiatus' for a month. If you're not back into the game within this month, the character will be moved to inactive, and the player removed from the game. Any exception should be talked about with the mods (for instance, 2 months vacations). Keep in mind that in case you decide to take a hiatus, you have to email the mods about it, with no exceptions. The hiatus counts since the day of the notification.
