Rylee stands at 5’6” tall and weighs 118lbs soaking wet and hardly looks like she could be an intimidating, imposing figure. Her bright blue eyes tell a different story. She has the ability to warm up the room or burn a hole right through you. She has dark brown, almost black hair and is often told she is a near carbon copy of her late mother. She has an athletic body, having been in dance she was a young child, but is surprisingly well developed and curvy for her size.

Rylee usually wears short skirts, shorts, tank tops, flowy t shirts and whatever else keeps her cool in the hot Las Vegas heat. She enjoys wearing bright blues, yellows, reds, purples and any other vibrant colour that catches her eye. She isn’t hung up on labels or designer clothing and knows how to make a $5 outlet mall shirt look like a million dollars. She is a casual jeans and flip flops type of girl. She loves wearing fun accessories like oversized earrings, fun necklaces, bangles, and costume jewellery rings.

Overall Rylee is more than happy with her appearance. She is young, confident and knows she’s attractive without being cocky, full of herself or arrogant. They only thing she doesn’t like about her body is the small, almost invisible scars on her right calf from when she fell in a cactus when she was 7 years old.

Rylee was raised to be conscious of others and never take things for granted. That being said she is down to earth, friendly, out going, and flirty. She loves to smile, have good light hearted fun and is often described as having an infectious laugh. Nothing made Rylee happier than flirting with guys at her old job back in Las Vegas, which was working in the Treasure Island Pirate Show. She’s independent, but happy when she’s in a relationship too, until her high standards kick in and she realises the guy she’s with isn’t worth her time.

Though highly intelligent and maintained a 4.0 grade average in high school and now in her first year of college that’s not to say Rylee isn’t without flaws. She’s stubborn beyond belief, which often drove her parents nuts and refuses to budge in her beliefs and in her plans. Once she sets her mind on something, that’s it, no room for discussion. She’s also quick to anger when things don’t go her way. Her two younger brothers think she is a spoiled brat since no one says no to Rylee and often think she is the favoured child.

Since her mother passed away two months ago, Rylee’s world has turned upside down. Outwardly she is still happy, bubbly and the same old Rylee, but inside is another story. She’s become emotionally detached from the world, not wanting to become too attached to things. She’s only realising now, after nearly 19 years of being on this earth, that life is unfair and how much it can hurt. She doesn’t understand why her mother had to be taken from her. Now she figures it’s just better to not feel, because it hurts too much otherwise.

By the time Rylee is done with university she hopes to be a scientist, namely a palaeontologist. She is more than obsessed with dinosaurs ever since she saw Jurassic Park as a child. In fact she loves anything to do with history and archaeology. Any opportunity not talking about her chosen career path, history or anything along those lines is a conversation wasted.

Rylee was born in raised in Las Vegas, NV to her single mother Cecilia. Cecilia was a professor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas campus in the Anthropology department and was on an expedition in Santiago, Chile when she met Rylee’s birth father, Michel Decker. After a few passion filled nights, both Cecilia and Michel went their separate ways and nine months later Rylee was born.

Cecilia never bothered to contact Michel and let him know that she was pregnant and would be having a daughter. She didn’t see him as father material and saw him as irresponsible and somewhat reckless. When Rylee was six months old Cecilia met Robert Romsland and it was love at first sight for both of them. They married with in the year and Robert legally adopted Rylee. Rylee has always called Robert “dad” even though she was made aware when she was 13 years old that Robert was not her biological father. She never had a need to know who her birth father was. Robert was an amazing father and loved her like she was his own. Cecilia and Robert had two more children; Erik and Craig.

Rylee had a normal childhood filled with lots of happy memories from family road trips, enrolling in dance, and immense interest in palaeontology and archaeology, and a close knit, loving family. When Rylee was 16 years old her entire world was turned upside down when her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. After a long, hard battle Cecilia’s body gave up and she passed away two months ago. Before she died Rylee enquired about her birth father, suddenly having a need to fill all the missing pieces of her family history. Cecilia told her what she needed to know in order to find Michel.

After making up her mind rather suddenly to head to Pleasant Point, her father Robert knew there was no stopping her. Instead he gave her a rather large sum of money from her mothers inheritance to get her on her feet once she arrived and also gave her her mothers Chevy Tahoe to get there. Rylee packed up her belongings into a U-Haul trailer and hit the road. She arrived in Pleasant Point, found an apartment and is now on a quest to find her birth father.

Her step father (whom she just calls Dad) and brothers still reside in Las Vegas.

Michel Decker - Learned that he was her birth father from her mother. She had no desire to meet him until her mother died from breast cancer. She came to town, found him, told him the truth and the two have now developed a close friendship. They ended up traveling to Egypt together in the summer.

Scott Archer - Met him on the Egypt trip. She thinks he is one of the sweetest people she has ever met and the two formed a friendship while traveling together.

Travis Collins - Knows Travis through Fletcher when they went grocery shopping. She's fond of Travis and think's he's a sweet person.

Malachai Dresden - Met him while travling on the Egypt trip and the two formed a close friendship. Once they returned home he ended up spending a lot of time at her place and is now moving in with her, into her spare room. She considers him one of her best friends.
